History of Johnson Station Cemetery
There’s been a lot of historians that have written great accounts of the history surrounding Johnson Station. I would like to hear more from the families of those buried at Johnson Station Cemetery. This area will be dedicated to such stories that are provided by the decedents of the early pioneers.

Issac Lafayette Hutcheson came to this part of Texas in the 1860’s from Tennessee, and Fort Worth Court House records indicate he sold land in the Johnson Station Area as early as 1867. It is reported that he donated the land for Johnson Station Cemetery as well as the first church and school. Some of the earliest grave stones are dated 1863.
